3 Volt CR2032 Lithium Coin Battery This CR-2032 lithium battery looks like a
coin or a thin button. This is a commonly used battery to keep date and CMOS
settings current when power is off in computers. Also used in
reflective/lighted vests for power. The IEC "CR" prefix indicates a round,
lithium/manganese dioxide cell. Coin-shaped cells are thin compared to their
diameter. The metal can is the positive terminal, and the cap is the negative
terminal. CR stands for manganese dioxide lithium chemistry. Since LiMnO2
cells produce 3 volts, there are no widely available alternate chemistries for
a CR coin battery. Open circuit voltage is 3.6Volts. CR2032 Lithium Button
